Last updated: 2026-05-14
TODO(legal): lawyer review required before launch. Confirm the designated agent registration with the US Copyright Office (copyright.gov/dmca-directory) per 17 USC §512(c)(2).
Reporting infringement
If you believe content processed through ReframR infringes your copyright, send a notice to dmca@reframr.app that includes ALL of the following (per 17 USC §512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing — specific enough that we can locate it (e.g. the job ID, the user account, or the URL where the content was made available).
- Information sufficient to contact you: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake (e.g. fair use, license, or misidentification), send a counter-notice to the same email with the elements required by 17 USC §512(g)(3). We will share your counter-notice with the original claimant per the DMCA process.
Repeat infringers
Per 17 USC §512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
